Vizzywig is an all-in-one video capture and editing app. Though it may provide little not included out of the box on your iOS devices, it integrates features together in a single app to make it easy to quickly make simple videos.
Snip, clip, publish, repeat
There's a good stack of options when capturing video with Vizzywig. A range of resolution settings allows you to grab footage up to 1920x1080, with video stabilization also on-hand to ensure that it all looks as good as possible.
One of the more interesting features is the multi-camera option. This allows you to record from multiple iOS devices at the same time (if you have multiple devices with Vizzywig installed). By syncing footage together you can jump between them at will – something that is usually hard to do with such ease. When using this feature you are limited to 1280x720 resolution, but the end result is still impressive.
Basic, but simple
Vizzywig contains a basic video editor. This allows you to mark and split videos you are filming as you record in order to make editing easier. Mostly edits are limited to topping and tailing footage with editable intros and outros, adding a sound track, and some transitions between clips. You can also import multiple clips and music to help you jazz up your movies.
These features are all easy to use. Dragging markers at either end a clip will select where you want to snip it, while tapping on the timeline offers up a selection of fades and cuts. Don't expect a full editing suite, but if all you are looking for are some snips and clips then you will find all you need.
Making movies made simple
Vizzywig offers a tight video package. Though, if you are already comfortable with other editing software, and are happy moving between apps to capture and edit footage, then it may prove a expensive surplus to your requirements.
